CSR 2017 with KAFA

Support services to women victims of violence are still very scarce in Lebanon. Shelters, among other services, are only provided by a few civil society groups. This year, MEKER is supporting KAFA by dedicating a percentage of its yearly profit to KAFA’s shelter for women victims of exploitation and trafficking from all nationalities. With every Kitchen or Wardrobe purchased*, you will contribute to offering women a safe refuge and help empower them.

KAFA (enough) Violence & Exploitation is a feminist, secular, Lebanese, non-profit, non-governmental civil society organization seeking to create a society that is free of social, economic and legal patriarchal structures that discriminate against women and children.

KAFA’s work focuses on three main areas: family violence, exploitation and trafficking in women, especially in migrant domestic workers and women in prostitution, and child protection, particularly from sexual and gender-based violence.
